How to know what illness you have and how to cure it?

Most of the people ignores health related issues\symptoms at the earlier stage, we care about it only when the pain is unbearable or we are unable to do our routine work. 

I would suggest you to WebMD Symptom Checker it before going to the doctor so that you know more about your illness and possible treatment.

Follow below mentioned steps to find out what illness you might have and what would be the treatment\advise for it. 

We will be using WebMD Symptom checker, you can either access the symptom checker tool online or use WebMD Symptom checker application on your smart-phone.

1. Access http://symptoms.webmd.com if you are on your computer (Desktop \ Laptop), if you are on your smartphone or tablet you may be required to download WebMD app.

2. Specify Gender, Age, Zip Code, Email ID. (you may not provide zip code and email id as they are optional).

Note: If you provide your email id you will get latest health news from WebMD to your specified email id.

3. Click Submit button.

4. Now to choose symptoms, move mouse cursor over the human body image and select the part where you have problem. 
I have selected abdomen, once you select the body part, you will get option to select further sub part if any, again move mouse cursor, now select either upper abdomen or lower abdomen.
I have selected lower abdomen, now select list of symptoms you are experiencing related to that body part by clicking +icon.

Note: You can click 'Back view' if you don't have health issue in front view.

5. Now verify the symptoms you have selected, add\remove any if you want.

6. Now you will see possible conditions you might have related to that body part, click each possible condition(s) to see detailed information such as overview, treatment, self care, when to see Doctor etc.

7. To go back click edit symptoms.

How to make email id easier to remember?

We often require to provide our email id to our customer\recruiter etc. so that they can send their requirement, document etc. to us. 

But sometime we find that someone sends an email to us, but we didn't get it for some reason, later it is found that the email is undelivered because the sender typed our email address incorrectly, this causes delays in the communication.
Wouldn't it be great if your email Id is short and easy to remember, well to achieve this you do not require to create new email id, what need to be simply done is add an email alias, by doing this you will have one original id and another will be alias id, don't worry their will be no separate password for alias id and also you will receive all emails sent to your alias id into your original email id.

Steps to be followed to make your email id simple and easy to remember:   

1. For Hotmail/Outlook Email Id users:  

     Log-In to your Hotmail/Outlook/Live Email Id.

2. For Gmail Email Id users:  

    Google seems to be offering email alias feature to only Google Enterprise customer, so if you are enterprise customer then you can click here for detailed steps.

3. For Yahoo Email id users:

    Log-In to your Yahoo Email Id.

4. For Work Office Email Id users: 

    This is for those are working and have office email id, they would need to request 
    their system admin\email admin to make this change for them and tell them 
    to create email alias for email id by name which you want it to be.  

Similar options should be available for all other popular and free email service providers.

Email alias examples: your mobile number@gmail.com (9000090000@hotmail.com), your business name@hotmail.com (jesoba@hotmail.com), other name@hotmail.com (pnp[At]live.in).

Doing this will help stop email delivery failure issues caused by incorrect email address.

How to find out what people are searching over Internet?

Internet is very much essential Today to keep ourself ahead in Life, Today information reaches faster over Internet then it reaches on TV, Radio etc.

Yesterday, I was going through Google Hot Trends and I found that Google is doing awesome job by analyzing user search queries and then preparing reports on hot searches over Internet.

This is called Google Hot Searches Trends. You can see daily report, monthly report, Visual view.

Follow these steps to know what is being searched over Internet at present.

1. Access http://www.google.co.in/trends/hottrends

2. Now select the country for which you want to see the hot trends.

4. If you want you can subscribe to selected hot trends so that you can get an email alert from Google, click subscribe button and then specify when (As it happens, once a day, once a week) you should get an email notification and click subscribe.

5. Also, you can click on visualize search to view the result in more attractive way, ref. screenshot to see how visual search result look likes.

Note: The email notification can be cancelled \ removed later if not required.

Although ICICI Bank has provided there customer with common customer care help number 022-3366-7777 (Mumbai helpline) and customer care email ID as customer.care@icicibank.com , but many a time I have found that ICICI Bank customer care team closes service request without giving any resolution.

How to resolve ICICI Bank issues faster

Customer care does not help the customer when ICICI Bank Sales team makes a mistake (High Processing Fee, High Pre-Payement Charges, Higher Interest), hence in such case issue does not get resolve even after waiting long time.

How to block ICICI debit card instantly

In emergency situation we may not have time to call ICICI Bank customer care and in such emergency we may use ICICI Net Banking and block our debit card instantly.

You will require Internet access (i-Pad, Cyber Cafe) and net banking credentials to use this facility. 

If you do not have Internet Access, then you may request someone next to you to access ICICI Bank portal using there smart phone. 
Steps to block your ICICI Bank debit card online instantly? 
      1.    Access ICICI Bank portal.
      2.    In the left side of the screen, Click Debit Card Blocking – Instant Deactivation option.
      3.    Now select your account number and click Go.
      4.    Now select Debit Card from list and click Go.

I haven’t tried steps next to it as this may block my debit card.

Once you block your card, you will not be able to use it again, so please be careful and do not block your card unless you have lost your card.

How to leave a group in WhatsApp in Windows Phone

WhatsApp is an application developed by Ex Yahoo employees, it’s cool to be using WhatsApp, but problems starts when someone adds you to a WhatsApp group and then member of that group keep sending silly messages, emoticon (smiley), etc. every couple of minutes.
Using WhatsApp becomes irritating due to floods of message received via a WhatsApp group(s).

Sometimes people uninstall WhatsApp app itself to get relief.

If you cannot keep checking WhatsApp updates regularly, then it would take time to load all messages for a group, providing group members are sending so many messages, videos, pics etc.

How to leave \ exit a group in WhatsApp? How to remove yourself from a group in WhatsApp?.


      1.    Open WhatsApp application.

      2.    Under Chat section, Tap the group you want to leave and delete and then choose ‘Delete and Exit the group’ option.


      -    All messages (Including Videos, Pictures) exchanged via the group will get deleted, save any pictures, videos, messages etc. before leaving the group.

       - All other group members will get a notification message that you have left the group.

-          - These steps are recorded from WhatsApp version 2.9.4

Text message delivery confirmation on Windows Phone

I always keeps SMS delivery option enabled so that I know whether my SMS has been reached to the receiver’s mobile phone.

Because many a time it may happen that the receiver may not receive the SMS due to some issue with SMS server of their mobile service provider.

How to enable SMS delivery confirmation setting?

1. Go to Messaging (SMS) menu on your Windows Phone.

2. Press ... text on right hand side of the phone and select Settings option.

3. Now move the slider right hand side under SMS delivery confirmation setting.

Now SMS delivery setting has been enabled, send an test SMS to someone to check whether you get confirmation SMS that message is delivered.

How to confirm whether the SMS you have sent is delivered?

The moment receiver receives the SMS on their phone you will get SMS with following message.

Mobile Operator
The message you have sent to 91......... was delivered. 


1. You would get above message only if you have enabled SMS delivery confirmation setting.

2. If you do not get message delivery confirmation SMS that means either the phone is switched off / does not have network / network service provider issue.

Above steps are captured from Windows Phone and may vary for your phone, but you should not find it difficult to configure this setting on your mobile phone
